Let cream cheese come to room temperature.

Slice ham into small, fine strips.

Chop green onion,

Mix cream cheese, ham and green onion in large bowl. When everything is well mixed, form into ball.

Place chopped pecans in shallow baking dish or plate and roll cheese ball in pecans to cover.
