Autumn Apple Loaf

margarine or butter

sugar

eggs

teaspoon

vanilla

apples; cored, peeled and grated

teaspoon

salt

1/2

cup

pecans

dash

cinnamon

flour

teaspoon

baking powder

1/2

teaspoon

baking soda

Preheat oven to 350°F & grease loaf pan.

In a small bowl, mix flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt and nuts.

In large bowl, beat butter and sugar and 1 egg until smooth. Add 2nd egg and mix well.

Stir in vanilla & grated apples.

Pour flour mixture into batter; stir until moistened.

Scrape into loaf pan.

Bake 50 - 60 minutes at 350°F.

Let stand for 10 minutes then remove from pan.

Oven Temperature: 350°F
