Cornbread

flour

sugar

teaspoons
baking powder
3/4
teaspoon
salt
cornmeal

eggs
1/4
shortening
milk
Pre-heat oven to 425°.
Sift flour, add sugar, baking powder and salt. Stir in cornmeal. Add eggs, milk, shortening. Beat till smooth, about 1 minute. Pour into greased cake pan.

Bake 20 to 25 minutes.
