Make sure all ingredients and utensils are warm.
Dissolve yeast in warm water. Add buttermilk, butter (warm & melted), and eggs. Add sugar and salt; mix continually until beaters are slow. Add flour mixing and needing by hand.
Place in warm oven covered and basted in butter until doubled in size. Punch down, kneed, place in pans. Allow to double. (For donuts, cut into size & fry in hot grease.)
Bake at 350° until brown. Brush tops with butter after removing from oven.
