Cake Procedure

Cream Crisco, margarine, and sugar together.

Seperate eggs. Add yolks one at a time and beat well.

Add dry ingredients and buttermilk to mixture; add vanilla.

Stir in pecans and coconut.

Beat egg whites stiffly and fold into batter.

Bake at 350°F for about 30 minutes.

Cream Cheese Icing
|

|
Warm margarine and cream cheese to room temperature.
|

|
Mix rest of ingredients until smooth and spread on cooled cake.
