Mix together 1 cup flour, 1 cup sugar, 1 teaspoon baking soda and 1 teaspoon salt.

In a sauce pan bring to a boil, 1 cup water, 1 1/2 sticks butter, 1/2 cup peanut butter and 1/2 cup vegetable oil.

Pour over dry ingredients and add 1/2 cup butter milk, 1 egg and 1 teaspoon vanilla, mix well.

Pour into greased and floured 10 1/2 x 15 sheet pan. Bake at 400°F for 15 to 20 minutes.

Icing

Put 1/3 cup milk, 1 stick butter and 1/2 cup peanut butter in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Turn off fire and add 1 teaspoon vanilla and 1 pound powdered sugar. Frost cake while hot.
